Between the spurs of the Serra da Estrela and the Costa da Prata (Silver coast) green hilly landscapes, old olive trees as well as the lovely smell of citrus trees which surround the village of Vila Nova de Poiares. Quinta no Pinhal is situated just outside this village .
It
is an old Quinta rebuild in 1998 in Portuguese style and lies with
about 1 hectare of land with olive and fruit trees in the middle
of a wood of pine trees. Here you can enjoy by going for a
ride
on one of the mountain or city bikes which are for rent, go for a walk
in the immediate environment and afterwards go for a swim in the fresh
swimming pool. The very ancient university city of Coimbra is
only 20 km away, it is a historical town, looking out over the
river
Mondego,with a lot of
culture you will have a pleasant stay here.
